What a wild ride March has been! Thank you all for joining us—for the conversations, the assistance to each other, and the fantastic community we love to be part of!

We have a LOT of new backers (nearly 75,000!) for whom this is your first Kickstarter campaign. Welcome! We wanted to put together a quick list of what to expect and what to do after this campaign closes.

If you have ANY questions or concerns, please be sure to send them to our support team at https://support.dragonsteelbooks.com/support/tickets/new rather than messaging us on Kickstarter.

• 5pm MDT: Campaign ends
  
  • Kickstarter will immediately begin processing payments. This may occur any time over the course of several hours, as it will take time to charge all pledges.
    
  • Please be certain your payment information is correct. You can update it by clicking “Manage my pledge.”
    
  • If any errors are encountered, Kickstarter will email you. You will have 7 days to correct your payment information before your pledge is canceled.
    
• 5pm MDT: Pre-order store opens
  
  • This store is for those wishing to back this campaign late, NOT for backers to update or add to their pledge.
    
  • Please direct friends who missed the campaign to this store. (Link will be available on our campaign page.)
    
  • If you have already backed our campaign DO NOT purchase through the pre-order store or it will create multiple accounts. You will be able to select add-ons through your BackerKit survey, which will be sent after Kickstarter has finished resolving all payments.
    
  • Pre-order store will close on April 30th.
    
• April 11–18: BackerKit surveys sent
  
  • Surveys will be sent to the email used by your Kickstarter account. Please be sure this is an email you can/will check and update your Kickstarter account now if not. Watch your spam/junk folders just in case.
    
  • Please fill out your survey by the end of April.
    
    • We will be unable to guarantee your t-shirt shirt size if your survey is not filled out in a timely manner.
      
    • We cannot ship your products unless you provide us with your address via this survey.
      
    • Digital-only tiers (ebook and audiobook) will still need to complete this survey to set up your account for digital rewards.
      
• Mid-May through June: Q1 rewards ordered
  
  • All physical rewards and shipping materials for the January, February, and March boxes will be finalized and ordered.
    
• Oct/Nov/Dec: Packaging and preparation for fulfillment
  
  • On top of all our other day-to-day store merchandise, Dragonsteel Warehouse will be VERY full of boxes to be prepared, books and swag items to be packaged, and pallets of ready-to-ship parcels. (Our current calculations are that we will send about 500 pallets worth of shipments each quarter!)
    
• December: Addresses locked
  
  • As we begin preparing labels to ship packages, all shipping addresses will be locked. Any address changes after this point MUST be sent to us via this link: https://support.dragonsteelbooks.com/support/tickets/new.
    
• January 2, 2023: Reward fulfillment begins
  
  • Secret Project #1 ebook and audiobook downloads will be available to all applicable backers.
    
  • Secret Project #1 premium hardcover boxes begin shipping.
    
  • Note: Shipments may take a few weeks to get out the door. Please be patient with us!

Exciting Swag Reveal and Thank You Gift!

In this week’s livestream, Brandon revealed a swag item to be included in the Warbreaker themed swag box—one we have seen requested many times and couldn’t wait to tell you about!

He also announced a new thank you gift: a Cosmere character collectible pin set. One of each of these twelve pins will be included in every premium hardcover box and themed swag box. Therefore, if you have pledged for the four premium hardcovers you will receive four of these pins, and if you have pledged for the swag boxes you will receive the other eight!

While Brandon is openly sharing that this one is Stormlight adjacent, please keep any other details out of the Kickstarter or update comments. Another New Thank You Gift and Swag Reveal!

In this week’s livestream, Brandon announced a couple new “thank you” gifts we will include in backer rewards. Great news for backers of our digital book tiers: we are including some digital rewards!

Gifts announced today:

• Digital wallpaper images for phones and computers using the Hoid artwork on our campaign page and the cover artwork from the Secret Project Books. This reward will be available to backers of all tiers!
• Secret Project #3 will have three interior colors, rather than just two as announced for all the books from a previous thank you gift.
• Addition of a gold foil color (for a total of three foil colors) to the covers of all four premium hardcover books.

Brandon also revealed another swag item, this time one that will be included in the Cytonic themed swag box. See the announcement below!
