Today is Halloween—the final day of October. It's spooky just how quickly this year has passed by. We've played a few tricks, had many treats, and it's been a howling good time!

Fulfillment of all four Secret Project novels is complete! If you have not received any of your books yet, please verify that you have filled out your backer survey and responded to any emails we have sent you. All digital ebooks and audiobooks are available through your backer survey or directly at this link: https://secretnovels.backerkit.com/backer/digital_rewards. Just like the ghost haunting your attic, your digital rewards will linger far into the future and you can download them again even if you have previously done so.

With November almost here, our Dougs are packing and shipping the Stormlight swag box to all applicable backers. Due to the large number of boxes, however, the steady stream will take some time to complete. Please watch our percentage bars and allow a couple weeks before reaching out and asking about delays in the November box.

With the exception of the popular Mistborn box, all boxes from January through October are available on our store. November and December boxes will be added sometime after they have been fulfilled to backers.

For those searching for these boxes, limited quantities of all fulfilled swag boxes—from January through November—will be available at our Dragonsteel convention, along with many other new products we are excited to debut! See our photos below for just a few of our new products, including the secret project themed swag announced on our social media. Entrance badges are still available. Bring a large body bag... er, goody bag to haul everything home!

Please note: Individual items from the boxes will not be available. After campaign fulfillment is complete and we have had time to process remaining inventory and logistics, announcements will be made about any individually available products at that time. Look for these in 2024! 

For those unable to join us at the Dragonsteel convention, our debut products will be available on DragonsteelBooks.com on Black Friday (November 24, 2023) at 10AM MST. If you're in the U.S., be sure to set an alarm to wake you from your Thanksgiving food coma!

As we enter the holiday season, shipping windows lengthen and our store team processes a significant increase in order numbers. To ensure timely delivery, please order early and be patient with our support and fulfillment teams.

Brandon will be doing a Halloween livestream tonight! Join us on his YouTube channel for a chance to see a costumed Brandon and Emily opening fan mail. This channel is also the source for his weekly updates most Tuesdays, and—for those not attending Dragonsteel 2023—where you will find the Defiant Release Party livestream on Tuesday, November 21 at 7PM MST.

It's Time for Secret Project #4!

October begins this weekend, and we all know what that means: the final installment of the four secret novels promised by this campaign will release to backers digitally and the physical book boxes begin shipping! As always, there are a large number of shipments to send and it may take all of October to get these books shipped. Thank you in advance for your patience with this process!

If you have updated your shipping address in your backer survey anytime from September 27 onward, or need to update it between now and when your October shipment is sent, please let us know!

Updates to your shipping address are not automatically pushed to our shipping software once we have exported it from your survey. We will need to manually update the label. Once you receive your shipping notification email, it is too late for us to update your address for the current shipment.

Secret Project #4 digital rewards will release Sunday morning at 12AM MDT (6AM UTC.) All fulfilled digital rewards from our campaign can be accessed at anytime directly from your backer survey at this link: https://secretnovels.backerkit.com/backer/digital_rewards. While the automated emails will go out when your books are delivered this weekend, you don't need to wait for the email to access your downloads—just (re)load that page when it is time to do so!

We strongly recommend creating a BackerKit backer account. You can then log in and access any/all campaigns and backer surveys connected to your email address from one login. Digital reward downloads will remain available for as long as our campaign is listed in your backed projects on BackerKit.

If you have any difficulties or questions about the digital books, check out our help article for the most immediate assistance.

If you encountered any issues with your Frugal Wizard box or your Sel themed swag box and have not already reached out to us about it, do so now! We will no longer service tickets related to these boxes (and any previous boxes) after October 5. Please open your boxes as soon as you receive them and let us know immediately if anything is missing or damaged.

While this book is the final expected reward for some of our backers, the campaign isn't over yet! We hope everyone will continue to join and engage with our campaign until it is complete. We've loved having you along in our journey and want to finish this Year of Sanderson off strong. When September Begins

You'll want to be awake long before September ends. Our Warbreaker themed box shipments have begun—watch for these boxes to be delivered soon! They just might take your Breath away.

We have now received 3 full truckloads of books! While we ship our Warbreaker boxes we will also begin packaging Secret Project #4. These books will start shipping on time at the beginning of October.

We are pleased to announce that William DeMeritt, who narrated Brandon's non-Cosmere short story Snapshot, has lent us his voice again—this time for Secret Project #4. The audiobook recording is complete and we look forward to sending it out on October 1.

We have a small number of reward shipments that have been returned to us for various reasons, and an even smaller number for which we are unable to contact the appropriate backers.

Our customer support team does amazing work and is happy to help with any difficulties you may encounter. To help them out, please reach out early with any concerns you may have, update your address in your backer survey through BackerKit, let us know if your email address has changed, and reply quickly if we notify you of any issues with your shipment. We want to finish strong as we enter the final months of the year.

Cosmere Box Complete! Looking Ahead

Summer break is ending here at Dragonsteel HQ. As our kids (and some of our employees) prepare to begin another year of schooling, we are speeding ahead toward the final months of the Year of Sanderson. Not only do we have three more swag boxes and one premium hardcover to release, we also have the Dragonsteel convention in November—which will debut new products and swag—and upcoming restock of some of our popular products. Things are ramping up for us while the year tries to wind down.

The Cosmere themed swag box packing and shipping is complete! If you have not received your box OR a shipment notification email, log in to your BackerKit account to find your tracking number. Thank you to everyone who tagged us in your unboxing photos and videos! We love seeing your responses to our swag boxes.

We are awaiting the final product for this box, which we hope to receive in the next week. Once it arrives, we will begin packing the Warbreaker box. This box will ship out on time beginning in September.

The first truckload of Secret Project #4 has arrived and another is scheduled for the beginning of next week. The books look gorgeous! By the time October rolls around, we will have most—if not all—of these books in hand and packed. Shipments will begin on time in October.

Don't forget that the final digital rewards (ebooks and wallpapers, and audiobooks to applicable tiers) will also be available at midnight (MDT) on October 1st. You do not need to wait for your email with links to download these rewards. As soon as they are fulfilled, you will find them listed along with the other three books' rewards in your BackerKit account. (We'll provide more reminders as we get closer.)

All rewards for the rest of the year have been ordered and are currently in production or have already arrived. We will provide updates as we get closer to these releases.

And just in case you missed it, the Dragonsteel convention will be held November 20-21, 2023. General admission badges are still available—come join us for an awesome party and be the first to see new swag and product releases at our booth! For those not attending, the Defiant book and swag bundle will be available for preorder from DragonsteelBooks.com in September. Remaining stock of new products debuted at the convention will be available online Cyber Monday.  

Extra Sel boxes will be available August 15 at 10am MDT (4pm UTC) with a product restock the following week. Keep an eye on our social media channels for any additional announcements!

Tampa Bay Comic Convention, Plus Updates!

Brandon will be at Tampa Bay Comic Convention this weekend, Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29, and Dragonsteel will have a booth there as well. Visit us at booth 1531 for free signing tickets for later the same day (while supplies last). This is a great opportunity for attending fans to get your Secret Project hardcovers signed!

Our amazing fulfillment team has worked hard this month and the final shipments with Secret Project #3 will go out today or tomorrow! If you have not yet received your copy, you will soon! Watch your email for shipping notifications.

Because we have completed backer fulfillment for this title, we are excited to be able to offer it—along with Tress and Frugal Wizard premium hardcovers—for sale at our booth in Tampa!

For you Worldhoppers expecting swag boxes, everything for the Cosmere swag box is in our warehouse and packaging starts this week. These boxes will begin shipping next week as scheduled. Don't forget to post your unboxing videos and pictures and tag Dragonsteel. We love to see your reactions!

For those asking, the Sel swag box will join our other available boxes on our store in the near future. For exact dates and announcements, watch our social media channels. We have been focused on fufilling Secret Project #3,  but will announce a date soon.
